The Archive is an immortal spirit who knows everything that is or has ever been written or printed or typed. The moment it is committed to writing.

The spirit has a vessel, and that is a woman. The entire knowledge - and power that goes with it - is passed from mother to daughter after the daughter has given birth to her daughter.

Only things go wrong. And currently the Archive resides in an 11-years-old girl.

Fear her.

I am the sum of human knowledge, passed down from generation to generation, mother to daughter. Culture, science, philosophy, lore, tradition. I hold the accumulated memories of a thousand generations of mankind. I take in all that is written and spoken. I study. I learn. That is my purpose, to procure and preserve knowledge.
